Early Intervention Assessments

Many of Eternity Aid’s volunteers form an interdisciplinary Allied Health Team including Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, General Practitioners and Play Therapists.

The Team conduct free screening assessments for Pre-schoolers to identify children at risk of developmental delay and provide simple interventions or referrals to specialist services in the area.

With four visits to each location per year, the Allied Health Team is able to provide approximately 150 screening assessments plus approximately 55 specialist referrals (with the majority being for Aboriginal families).
